ReplyDeleteActually, I'm moving on from this blog. I am going to return to family blogging. I miss it. It's more fun. This was fun while it lasted, but Linda is far too busy to write anymore, and I have nothing to say. So, this will probably be the last post here. I'd write a formal good-bye, but no one is left to read it.

ReplyDeleteJill is no relation to Amy. "Amy" was invented by a newspaper columnist who wanted to use a comment left by "Arby" in one of his articles but wanted to keep the comment anonymous. He changed "Arby" to "Amy." That became a running joke here. Jill is a regular lurker/reader. She's left one or two comments over the years. I wrote the three names of the three commentors on the previous post on identical squares of paper, folded them, mixed them, closed my eyes and selected a piece of paper. Jill won. The other two names are still folded on my kitchen table. One more thing to clean…
ReplyDeleteLove being a lurker ~ sounds creepy and slightly unstable. ;) Seriously, I too am really looking forward to your family blog and the LOL time! On occasion if the kids hear me they'll come running, and almost always it's something I can read aloud so they can have a good laugh as well. And a side benefit is that I can have a little window into the life of an old friend and her family. Hello, "the Boss"! Wait though, maybe that IS creepy??? Oh well. So get to writing, Arby.
